Religion (the Episcopal Tradition and World Religions)
Wilkes students have an opportunity to learn about the Episcopal Church and traditions and attend and participate in services at Grace and St. Peter’s Church.
To prepare students for a diverse world, the Episcopal services for students in grades 2 through 5 are supplemented with a course in World Religions, focusing on religious history and traditions from around the world. Students are exposed to major current world religions including Christianity, Judaism, Islam, Hinduism, and Buddhism. Time is also devoted to learning about religious traditions and stories from the ancient world, particularly as these relate to the thematic curriculum
